Logo and identity

Rama Studio has created the logo and identity for BIBLIOTEKET (The Library), a new public library situated on Rentemestervej 76 in Copenhagen NV.

The logo concept is based on the dynamic shape of the building — a pile of books four stories high. The insitution is much more than a library, it is a cultural center for the neighbourhood, like the bolt of energy sparking from the logo.

Logo og identitet

Rama Studio har designet logo, identitet og skiltning til BIBLIOTEKET i Københavns nordvestkvarter.

Logoet er baseret på bygningens dynamiske form - en stabel af bøger, 4 etager høj. Trods navnet er bygningen meget mere end et bibliotek, den er et kulturelt centrum i lokalområdet, som den gnist der springer fra logoet.

The visual identity uses bold typography and three strong colors. These simple and flexible elements provides a strong and characteristic look in all of the librarys visual communication.
