Visual identity and signage for new public library in Copenhagen NV
Rama Studio has created the logo, identity and signage for BIBLIOTEKET (The Library), a new public library situated on Rentemestervej 76 in Copenhagen NV.
The principal architect for the building is COBE, and the murals on the inside walls are created by HuskMitNavn.

Rama Studio har designet logo, identitet og skiltning til BIBLIOTEKET i Københavns nordvestkvarter.
Biblioteket er tegnet af COBE arkitekter og opført i 2010. Udsmykningen er lavet af HuskMitNavn.
A series of pictograms designed for the library.
The wayfinding signage is based on bold typography painted directly on the surface, to avoid cluttering the stretch metal walls.
This is supplemented by a black aluminum sign on each floor and text on all doors.
Bibliotekets skiltning er udført som stor, klar tekst direkte på væg og gulv.
Det suppleres med enkelte sortlakeret aluminiumsskilt etagerne samt folietekst på døre og vinduer.
Shelf signage
Shelf signage is costum made to fit the purpose and layout of each part of the library, and fits the visual style from the wayfinding signs.
Hyldeskiltning
Hyldeskiltning er tilpasset de enkelte dele af biblioteket, og er visuelt i forlængelse af de øvrige skilte.
